How to Reset Your PIPPS Password

What You'll Need:

The email address you used to register your account
Access to your email inbox

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Go to the Forgot Password Page

Go to the PIPPS login page
Look for the link that says "Forgot password"
Click on the "Forgot password" link
You'll see a new page asking for your email

Step 2: Enter Your Email Address

Find the box labeled "Your Email Address"
Type in the EXACT email address you used when you registered
Double-check for spelling mistakes

Important: Use the same email you registered with. If you use a different email, the system won't be able to find your account.

Step 3: Click the Reset Password Button

Click the "Reset Password" button
Wait a few seconds while the system processes your request
The page will reload and show you a message

What Messages Might You See?

After clicking "Reset Password", you'll see one of these messages:

📧 Yellow/Tan Message (Most Common):

"If an account matching that email address exists, a password reset link has been sent to your email."

What this means: The system has processed your request.

What to do next:

Go check your email inbox
Look for an email from PIPPS
Check your spam/junk folder if you don't see it
Click the link in the email to create a new password

❌ Red/Pink Message (Error):

"Error: Please enter a valid email format."

What this means: Your email address doesn't look correct.

What to do: Check that your email has an @ sign and looks like: name@email.com

✅ Green Message (Success):

What this means: Everything worked perfectly!

What to do: Follow the instructions in the message to continue.

Step 4: Check Your Email 📬

Open your email program or website
Look for an email from PIPPS (it should arrive within a few minutes)
If you don't see it in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder
Open the email and click on the password reset link inside
Follow the instructions to create a new password

What If I Don't Receive the Email?

Try These Steps:

Wait 5-10 minutes - sometimes emails take a little time to arrive
Check your spam, junk, or promotions folder
Make sure you typed your email address correctly
Try requesting the reset again with the correct email
If still no email, contact your system administrator or support team
